Finland will showcase its cutting-edge XR and AI solutions at the "Metaverse Day" held in the Nordic Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. This event aims to foster collaboration between Japanese and Nordic companies and experts in fields such as manufacturing, defense, smart cities, and sustainable urban development.
The program is divided into two sessions: "Industrial & Defense" in the morning and "Smart City & Sustainability" in the afternoon. Finnish participants include Nokia, Proverse, Helsinki XR Center, and Younite, among others, who will present the latest technological demonstrations and talks. Notable Japanese speakers include Hiroshi Nakatani (Vice President and CTO of Kawasaki Heavy Industries), Masao Nakane (NVIDIA Japan), and Hideaki Watanabe (Chairman of the Defense Technology Foundation).
The event aims to create new business opportunities by leveraging digital technologies to build a sustainable future society.
