The Nordic Pavilion has successfully completed its structural framework phase in line with the original construction schedule.

Since breaking ground in May 2024, the project has made steady progress with the support of Rimond, the construction consultancy, and is now moving into the next stages of exterior wall installation and interior finishing.

The "Nordic Circle," conceived by the five Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden), embodies a commitment to sustainability and innovation as a wooden structure designed to respect and reflect the natural environment. The pavilion is on track to complete construction by March next year, and we will continue to prioritize safety and quality control while advancing environmentally conscious building practices.

The concept of the "Nordic Circle" captures the pavilion's vision: a symbol of sustainable growth that brings together the best of each Nordic country while fostering new connections, not only within the Nordic nations but also with Japan and other countries worldwide. Under this name, the pavilion reflects the collective commitment of these five Nordic nations to transcend differences in culture and values to foster sustainability, innovation, and international cooperation.

As we progress toward completion, we provide visitors with an immersive experience of Nordic values, culture, and forward-looking initiatives. We eagerly invite you to explore the pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai and experience the Nordic nations' efforts toward sustainable societies, innovation, and the deep connection between people and nature.
