Nordic Pavilion Wins Gold for “Best Exhibit / Display”

Award

The Nordic Pavilion at EXPO 2025 Osaka has been awarded Gold in the “Best Exhibit / Display” category at the World Expolympics. Coming just after welcoming our 1.4 millionth visitor, this award is a proud achievement for us and a recognition we owe to all those who have visited and supported the Nordic Pavilion.

The judging team delivered the trophy to the pavilion, and the entire team celebrated this special moment together.

About the Award-Winning Exhibition “Nordic Circle”

The winning exhibition, “Nordic Circle,” was created in collaboration by Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden, together with design teams from across the Nordics and Europe.

Inside the exhibition hall, visitors are surrounded by giant screens that bring to life the Nordic way of living in harmony with nature and sustainability. The changing seasons and everyday life are portrayed vividly, while wall-mounted monitors introduce nine key initiatives led by the Nordic countries.

The experience is further enriched by a specially composed 20-minute soundtrack by Icelandic artists Sindri Már Sigfússon (Sin Fang) and Kjartan Holm, synchronized with the visual artwork The Circle of Trust, immersing visitors in the rhythms and moods of the Nordics.
