Finland is set to shine at Expo 2025 Osaka with special Finland Day celebrations on June 12, 2025. The day will include the official ceremony with cultural performances from Finland , many world-famous Finnish symbols such as Santa Claus, Moomin and sauna, and will end with “Party like a Finn – Rock & Fashion” evening party. We are now searching for volunteers!
Finland joins Expo 2025 in Osaka with other Nordic countries Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, emphasizing the globally important values of trust and cooperation.
The theme of Finland Day is "Happiness Day of Finland," offering visitors of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to experience the elements of Finnish happiness.
Sustainable fashion meets rock – Party Like a Finn!
In addition to being fun and entertaining, Finland Day is also about showcasing new solutions and innovations that help solve today’s global challenges. During Finland Day we will highlight Finnish innovations in fashion and textiles both during the day and in the evening party.
In the evening Finland will organize an event “Party Like a Finn – Rock & Fashion”. It will be a lifestyle and music show where sustainable textiles take the stage along with two musical artist performances. Finnish lifestyle and fashion brands are showcased with volunteer models that take part of the show. Brands include pioneering brands that are redefining responsibility through innovative design, bio-based materials and circular solutions.
Join the state of Happiness as volunteer assistant or models
We are now looking for volunteers to model and assist in the Happiness Day of Finland program. Are you a Finland fan and want to participate in the state of Happiness?
The tasks vary from assisting the stage manager and organizing the events to queues and crowd controlling. We are seeking about 20 models for the “Party Like a Finn – Rock & Fashion” lifestyle show.
We require a happy CAN DO! attitude, English proficiency and availability for the whole day June 12 from early morning 8:00 A.M. to late night 9 P.M. We offer lunch, some snacks, a free entry to Expo area as part of the organization, a working diploma, and a once in a lifetime experience in Expo 2025 Osaka’s Finland Day Team! This is a volunteer job and therefore we cannot pay daily allowances, travel costs or accommodation. Insurance[NO1] (#_msocom_1) ?!
- Applicants must agree to the possibility of appearing on television or social media, as media coverage (including TV) may occur.
- There is no appearance fee. Please note that all transportation and related costs for attending the event day are the responsibility of the participants.
- If you belong to a model agency or production company, please make sure to obtain permission from your agency before applying.
- The rights to use any photos taken at the fashion show will belong to the organizers of this event.
